Fourth time’s a charm?

Alex Eckhardt took a chance on buying & selling sneakers in high school… then gave up. He tried again… and again… and then the fourth time, it stuck!

Alex was a part of the inaugural class of Adams County CEO. When trying to come up with his personal business, his facilitator asked about the things he loved. His answer: sports & shoes.

He went from selling sneakers out of the trunk of his car to having a storefront (Q-Town Kicks). He once traded a car for 3 pairs of shoes, and then sold those three pair for $18,000. He has 1000 shoes in his inventory right now. And he’s not done yet.

Thanks, Alex, for openly and honestly sharing your journey with us. We loved hearing your story!
